• Received a return offer following my internship and joined the team as a Junior Software Engineer.

• Built a B2B dashboard from scratch using React and TypeScript.
• Designed wireframes and implemented new pages with a focus on UX.

BTM is Istanbul's startup commercialization center. The program is workshops and mentorship around building a real company, not theory. I'm developing my own idea through it and meeting people already doing this for a living.

Most of the job was async. Keeping everyone unblocked across time zones, deciding scope, and saying no to things we couldn't ship in time. The hardest part was not the code, it was the calendar.

Built in Android Studio with Java. Worked on navigation, the user flow when reporting an unsafe spot, and some UI components. Learned a lot about how Android handles state compared to the web.

Wrote captions, scheduled posts, ran small A/B tests on ad creatives. Learned that what you think will perform usually doesn't. The boring stuff often wins.

Started in a group chat, grew to 30+ across 6 countries. Most of the value was just people sharing what they learned about applying abroad. Visa stuff, scholarships, what schools actually look for.
